Kelio Arts Studio was established at the end of 2013. Located in Kaohsiung’s
TaKaoBooks. Kelio plays the role of intermediary between artists, curators, event
planners, exhibitions, and designers, and specializes in finding possible exchanges in certain places or spaces with artists. The scope of Kelio’s work includes linking creative industries and art with audiences through curating, fine goods, handmade items, and workshops.
Kelio was awarded a grant by the Ministry of Cultural to manage the cultural
settlement Creative Fongshan. In this capacity, Kelio conducted surveys of local
cultural features including paying visits on old shops selling handicrafts, leading tours, connecting local creative industries, marketing goods by local craftsmen, and promoting art and cultural programming.
